The hot melt glue products used in sanitary napkin manufacturing are mainly a type of hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA). Its main function is to firmly bond different layers of materials (such as non-woven fabrics, absorbent layers, backing films, etc.) during the product manufacturing process, while ensuring softness, comfort and safety during wearing:

• Structural adhesive: used to bond internal structural layers such as absorbent core and non-woven fabric.
• Positioning adhesive: used at the bottom of sanitary napkins to fix them on underwear and keep them in place.
• Edge adhesive: used to seal edges to keep the shape neat and prevent leakage.
• Anti-rewet adhesive (edge adhesive): improves sealing and prevents liquid from leaking to the edges.
