Why Are Pillow Hot Melt Glue Production Line Equipped With Bulk Discharge System?

In recent rears, in our hot melt glue production line projects, we often recommend that customers configure an additional discharge port when planning pillow hot melt glue production line, for the purpose of simultaneously producing bulk hot melt glue.

1. More flexible production capacity on the same production line, covering a wider range of products

Pillow hot melt glue is suitable for high-speed, automated packaging lines, but many industries still prefer bulk hot melt glue, such as:

• Furniture and woodworking industries
• Paper and packaging plants
• Composite materials companies
• Export traders (who prefer large packaging to reduce costs)

By adding a bulk discharge port, the entire line can produce both ppillow and bulk hot melt glue, covering more customers with two specifications and increasing the commercial value and market adaptability of the production line.

2. Minimal equipment modifications, low cost, but significant profit increase

Adding a bulk discharge outlet only requires:

• Square mold
• One set of dispersing pumps
• Control system with added corresponding logic (optional)

The investment is low, yet it allows the factory to have the capacity of "two production lines", which is very cost-effective.

3. More convenient for developing new peoducts or testing new raw materials

Pillow hot melt glue cooling method is fixed and suitable for mass production, but not suitable for:

• Small-batch trial production
• New formula testing
• Research and development processes requiring large bulk hot melt glue

The addition of bulk discharge outlet allows factories to accommodate both large-scale mass production and experimental batch production.

4. Some customers specifically request "bulk form" hot melt glue, and an additional outlet allows for easy switching

Many customers (especially in developing countries) still use:

• 5kg, 10kg and 15kg large PE-lined carboard boxes
• Traditional bulk hot melt glue feeding method
• Cost-sensitive hot melt glue equipment

Adding a bulk dispensing outlet allows the productin line to respond promptly to changing customer needs, preventing the loss of orders due to a single equipment configuration.

5. Reduce reliance on pillow-pack packaging materials

Pillow-pack cooling and packaging requires:

• Cooling water tank
• Packaging film or bags
• More stringent equipment maintenance

In some regions, the supply of film is unstable or the cost is high, so companies need a more "traditional but reliable" production method to reduce risk.

One production line, multiple product forms = more profitable, more flexible, and more sustainable.
