1. Process environment and sealing requirements

  • EVA hot melt glue production line: This is an open or semi-open system. The production process only requires conventional heating, mechanical stirring, and vacuum degassing; air isolation is not necessary.
  • PUR hot melt glue production line: This requires a completely enclosed, water- and oxygen-free environment. A high-purity nitrogen (N₂) protection system must be used throughout the entire production process. This is because if PUR comes into contact with even trace amounts of moisture in the air, it will prematurely and irreversibly solidify inside the reactor, rendering the entire reactor and equipment unusable.

2. Core stirring and reaction equipment

  • EVA hot melt glue production line equipment: Heavy-duty kneaders, multi-functional high-power dispersers, or twin-screw extruders are typically used. Because the EVA system has extremely high viscosity in the initial melting stage, strong mechanical shear forces are primarily relied upon to disperse the high-viscosity fillers and resin.

The prepolymerization reaction of polyurethane is accompanied by intense chemical exothermic reactions; the system must have the ability to switch to cooling or heating within seconds, and temperature control must be accurate to ±1℃, otherwise emulsification or gelation can easily occur.

4. Molding and filling system

  • EVA hot melt glue production line: Products are primarily in granule, strip, or block form. Can be equipped with a water ring granulator or a water-cooled extrusion strip mill, allowing products to be directly exposed to air and water for cooling.

The filling head has vacuum suction and nitrogen sealing functions to ensure the finished product is completely isolated from air before opening and use.
